… since I’ve posted. I know. I’ve gotten into a blogging rut, especially since I haven’t really been knitting much with all the dyeing and wire-wrapping going on. I have to admit - running an Etsy shop is fun! It’s not easy work, trying to keep everything straight, but it’s challenging and definitely rewarding when I hear how much people love the yarn, stitchmarkers and fiber! I even have a bulk order coming up in the summer with one of the online sock yarn sites, so definitely stay tuned.
Since this is a blog for WIPs and FOs, here’s a recap of what I’ve actually finished in the last few months.
I crocheted a bunch of tea scarves for the boyfriend’s family for christmas. There were 8 in total, and I found some fun twisty bulky yarn from Joann’s Fabrics to crochet with. The result - a quick crochet project and lovely results!
And after those, I kinda stopped knitting & crocheting for a bit. But then I picked up a great book - Friday Night Knitting Club - and the storyline and the fact that the ladies in the book knit together revitalized me. So I’ve picked up the needles again and decided to try my hand at entrelac by way of Winter Knitty’s Quant. If I can finish this quick project (and it only takes one skein, which is perfect since I have a single skein of Paton’s SWS just sittin’ in the stash), then I will proceed to move onto some Entrelec socks with the Noro sock yarn that I have. I’m kinda psyched again
Okay, so that’s my quick and dirty update - hopefully I’ll be able to pop in again soon. In fact, I will try to make a better effort of doing so

Yes, I know the name of my shop.
But I got a new shipment of yarn in yesterday.
And I test-dyed a skein of 100% CASHMERE.
And I fell hard.
I think I am going to have to keep this skein for myself.
Especially since I’ve pet it and rubbed it against my face.
Talk about embarrassing yarn behavior.

I took the plunge.
And registered a domain.
YarnLust.com was taken.
So I took Yarn-Lust.com.
And set it to redirect to my Etsy store.
Woo hoo for me!
