Bad bad blogger!2

Yes, I know I have been a very bad blogger. However, I am finally back with an update :)

Once upon a time, during my visit to Vancouver for work, I met a little girl named Jennifer. She’s the daughter of one of my colleagues in the Canadian office. She was sooo cute and sweet, and talked to me the whole time we were at dinner. And surprise, surprise… her favorite color is purple! Well, you know that means that I had to knit a purty purple scarf for her, right?

Purply Scarf for Jennifer

  • yarn: double-stranded leftover simply soft purple yarns
  • needles: size 9 clover bamboo
  • pattern: broken rib stitch
  • additional: steamed acrylic to “kill” it, which encouraged the stitch to lie flat

As an added bonus, Jennifer totally loved the scarf… in fact, she wouldn’t even take it off after she put it on (even though it was about 70° outside). Yay! Doncha just love that?

More updates to come… I think my knitting fever is starting to return. Hee hee.
